The Erawan House accommodation where we stayed in Bangkok was in a small narrow street. This was a great location and an area which is a hive of activity within walking distance of many of the main tourist sites to visit. Erawan house is typical backpacker accommodation and is set back from the street and the front area comprises a number of other businesses such as currency exchange, tour operator and tailor. I explained to the tailor that he was wasting his time with our group.
